This is not the kind of place you'll want to wear your best shoes at, so please consider appropriate footwear for forest, field and potentially mud.
Catering
We will be providing food after the ceremony. If you have any intolerances or allergies, please contact us with your dietary requirements in the RSVP so we can accommodate to your needs.
Camping
There will be some space for guests to camp, you will need to bring your own tent. Please contact us to arrange this, as we will need to gauge numbers.
Gifts
We're not expecting gifts. If you would like to give us a gift, a little help towards our honeymoon would be lovely.
FAQ's
This section will be updated regularly, so feel free to return to check in. If you have any burning questions we have not covered, please contact us. We will get back to you directly: RSVP@greatwoodwedding.com
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably for an outdoor woodland wedding. Think smart-casual with sturdy shoes.
Is parking available?
Parking detail will be updated soon. Watch this space!
Can I bring a plus one?
Plus ones are stated on the invite. Please check your invitation.
Are children invited?
Invited children are listed on the invites. Both our families are huge, we've had to be strict on numbers, sorry.
What if the weather is bad?
Good job you brought sensible shoes! There is going to be a large tent for the meal and disco. The ceremony will take place in the woods, hopefully the weather will be decent and the trees will provide plenty of cover. Let’s hope for good weather.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Mostly, please contact us if you have specific mobility needs and we will be happy to arrange for you to be able to move around safely and comfortably.
Where shall we stay?
As much as we would love to have everyone camp in the field or stay in the cottage, logistically it's not possible. There are plenty of local B&B's and hotels in and around North Devon. We will update a link soon for you to peruse.
How should I get back to my accommodation?
You can do many things to avoid this logistical nightmare. On our accommodation page, there will be numbers to book taxi's/minivans to cart you back to your lodgings. Alternatively, if you do not mind you could assign a designated driver in your party or carpool. You have a year...
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by January 2026.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
You absolutely can. We will be providing some alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own.
Help! I don't drive, I can't get there!
Driving is not the only way you can get to this event! You can take the train, but you will need some way to get to the event from the train station: you could cycle from the train station! If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, please contact us. I am sure we will find someone you can carpool with.
